Wedding

Janesville, WI Wedding Photographer | Megan and Tim | August 10, 2012

Megan and Tim had quite the event for their wedding.  It was a 4 day deal!  First there was the rehearsal, then their wedding in Lake Geneva, the reception at the Armory in Janesville the next day, and THEN a Sunday brunch!

I have such a hard time picking which images I want to blog  – that it pretty much freezes me up..that’s why my blog posts take forever.  So, in an effort to get some of these images up – I chose some of my absolute favorites from their reception at the Armory.

The Armory is pretty much a photographer’s dream with so so soooo many little nooks and crannies to explore.  It was almost overwhelming because I knew that there was no way I could create all the images that were swirling through my mind.

I was so excited to find this little room tucked away from the room they were making their Grand Entrance from.  I think I probably gasped out loud.  I knew it would a perfect place to get some shots of Megan and Tim while they unwound a bit.

It was a crazy busy day and I literally had about 10 minutes (if that!) with Megan and Tim ALONE to create these images before their Grand Entrance.

The thing that really speaks to me with these images is that you can almost visibly feel them relaxing and escaping for a moment.  It was such a hectic time for them – fun, of course, but this little retreat together was much needed for both of them, even if it was only for 10 minutes.

So please enjoy – these are some real moments, folks.

I think I get a little weak in the knees with this image. It's something special you can feel between them.
